Type-Fight

Type-Fight is a word-based strategy game developed for the GMTK Game Jam 2024.
The concept is simple but pretty fun: players are given prompts, such as "word needs to end in X," or "the word needs at least 3 vowels" The longer the word the more troops you summon for your team.

After three rounds of collecting troops, your troops face off against the opposing team’s forces in a chaotic, physics-driven battle. They knock each other off the map until only one team remains. Brains over brawns man.

This game is still in development. Future ideas is a single player mode with a story (mostly complete, just could not finish it in time for the GMTK game jam unless I like, didn't have to work in 6 hours or something). Also working on a build for online multiplayer. Currently this build only supports local multiplayer.

Type fast, think smart, turn off caveman brain, and may the best words win in Type-Fight!
